Write a loved one's life story with ChatGPT or Claude, then keep it on TributeWell

Talk through their life in your AI assistant, save the story as a private memorial draft, and publish it on TributeWell when you're ready.

What you can do

Write and save a memorial

Your assistant helps you put a life into words, asking about the people, places, and moments that mattered. When you're happy with the story, it saves it to TributeWell as a private draft and gives you a link to publish it.

Find an existing memorial

Ask your assistant whether there's a TributeWell memorial for someone, and it searches public TributeWell memorials by name and links you straight to the page.

Use TributeWell in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings and choose Connectors.
  2. Open the TributeWell connector in the Claude directory and click Connect. No sign-in is needed.
  3. Start a new chat and ask Claude to help you write a memorial, or to find one.

If TributeWell isn't listed in the directory yet, you can add it yourself: in Connectors, choose Add custom connector, enter https://tributewell.com/mcp.php, and select No sign-in.

Use TributeWell in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open the apps directory and search for TributeWell.
  2. Add TributeWell. No sign-in is needed.
  3. In a chat, mention TributeWell and ask it to help you write a memorial, or to find one.

Things to try

Publishing your memorial

When your assistant saves a memorial, it gives you a private link. Open it to see the draft, create your TributeWell account or sign in, and click Publish memorial. Your memorial goes live on TributeWell, where you can add photos, invite family and friends to share memories, and choose who can see it.

Nothing is published until you click Publish. Draft links work for 30 days.

If something isn't working

The assistant didn't use TributeWell

Make sure TributeWell is connected, then mention it by name, for example: "save this as a memorial page on TributeWell."

The draft link says it has expired

Draft links last 30 days. Ask your assistant to save the memorial again for a new link.

A memorial didn't show up in search

Only public memorials can be found. If the family has made a memorial private or password-protected, ask them for the link.
