In loving tribute to Marissa Masode-Clare, who passed away on February 28, 2026, we are creating this memorial wall to honor her life and legacy.
Our intention is to share cherished memories, heartfelt messages, and meaningful moments so that her beloved children, Samiyah and Rihan, may one day gain a deeper understanding of their mother through our eyes — the love she gave, the light she carried, and the impact she made on all of us.

Dearest Cousin Marissa,
In your short 33 years on this earth, you lived with a strength and spirit that will never be forgotten. Today, as we lay you to rest in plot 33, we hold on to the memories that will live with us forever.
I will always remember your fearless choices — how you never allowed life to hold you back, and your unwavering determination to conquer everything you set your heart on.
Thank you for bringing your entire family to volunteer at our annual Pay It Forward project each December. That was just who you were — giving, present, and full of love. And I’ll never forget the special goodies you brought for Tanuja, myself, and the boys — Salara, Guyana bread, chiney cake, and cream soda — small gestures that meant so much and reflected your thoughtfulness.
You will be missed beyond words, but you will continue to live on within our hearts, and through the eyes and lives of your greatest blessings, Samiyah and Rihan.
Give our Namaste and Salam to all those who have gone before you, and with whom you are now reunited.
