Jim was such a kind man; I enjoyed our conversations together about sports and family. His face always lit up when he talked about MaryAnn and the various activities she was involved in growing up,… it was evident how proud he was of her and how much he loved her and his family. Knowing he had a passion for racquetball and had played it for many years, he would’ve really enjoyed and excelled at Pickleball. It would have been fun for Mike and I to play together with him.
It was beautiful to witness the loving and compassionate care that Maryann and Todd gave him in his last days. He will be missed.Jim was such a kind man; I enjoyed our conversations together about sports and family. 1962 - Starting lineup for Minnesota State Tournament at Bloomington Stadium (home of Minnesota Twins). Special memory of dad's, "When I was in High School at St. Paul Central High School, I was the star pitcher of the team, and with my mother Esther, my aunt Mary Brunker and uncle Lester came to the tournament in Minneapolis, watched me pitch in the tournament, which we won, and we ended up in third place in the tournament. They bought me a new baseball glove, as the week after, I tried out for the Minnesota Twins."1962 - Starting lineup for Minnesota State Tournament at Bloomington Stadium (home of Minnesota Twins).
