Thank you for visiting our Tribute page. Please upload your favorite memories of our beloved Jake!

  • Most of my best memories of early childhood are with Jake. For a while before the rest of the cousins came along it was just me and him. We got in trouble a lot before our parents had more kids and learned to relax a little bit but we did get into trouble on purpose because it was fun. We would mix our ice cream and cake together at parties until it was a slurry and we called it the “Jake and Rob Special”. He was one of those types of cousins that made you love going to family parties, even when your grandparents house was boring. Some people are lucky to have a best friend cousin and that’s how Jake and I were until age 14 or 15 probably. He introduced me to some of my favorite music and video games and movies and taught me to be comfortable having fun and not being such a square by breaking some rules. I still think about that (even though I’m still kind of a square).

    I’ll miss him.

  • I knew and interacted with Jake mostly when he was younger. I remember him being home after his birth and being soo big!

He was a fun almost younger brother that Jesse and I would get to be with.

He was always calm and gentle. He had eyes that would peer into you.

I saw those eyes again at the end in the hospital.

I look forward to seeing his those eyes of him again in the future.

You will be missed for a time, Jake, but not forgotten!

    Love,
    Uncle Paul
