Just was thinking of all of you, got on here and was able to look at all the wonderful pictures. You can really tell she was loved to the moon and back. Just want you to know that I think of her (and you) often, imagining that she is in a wonderful place full of love and peace. Love you xoxo
Cindy (and family), Kelle & I were out of town when we heard from Tom. Clearly, we were both shocked & saddened. No words can adequately convey the grief we share with you and your family. Life is often too unfair and this is beyond that. I trust in time, maybe much later, you will mostly recall the joy she brought to all of you and know that she certainly basked in the love you all gave her. Dave & Kelle
We are so sorry for your loss. I've worked with Cindy for decades and Shannon has coached at SoCal for years. Unfortunately we did not know Fin, but she sounds like she wan an amazing person. I can't image the pain and heartache. We pray for you and your family. Doug and Shannon
Back in 2021, Fin and my daughter, Makynzee, became instant friends while playing volleyball together at SoCal. They spent that season laughing, being completely goofy, and making so many fun memories together. Watching their friendship grow was such a gift, and it didn't take long to see what made Fin so special. She had the kindest heart and a smile that could brighten a room. Although they never ended up on another team together, their friendship endured over the years. Every time Makynzee saw Fin, her face would light up. Fin was one of those rare people who left an imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her. Fin, you will be missed so much. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to my daughter and for bringing so much light into this world. We will continue to carry you in our hearts always. Rest easy, sweet girl. ❤️
I did not know Fin but I was a colleague of her mother Cindy. And I know what it's like to lose a daughter, having lost our daughter Whitney Rose in 2018. By attending her service at the Mission with so many of her friends and family I'm confident that we will keep her memory alive.
We are so deeply saddened to hear this news. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. With our deepest sympathies, Carlsbad Children’s Dentistry Team
I grew to know Sera over the last 17 years through her mother. From the family photographs covering the bulletin board in Cindy’s office. From Sera’s creative art decorating Cindy’s bookshelves and desk. From stories about Girl Scout camping trips, volleyball tournaments, family vacations, Coast-to-Crest Trail Challenge family hikes, and academic achievements. Sera's light will continue to shine through the lives she touched, the products of her creativity, and all of our collective memories. May her memory be for a blessing.
