Ed was such an important piece of the puzzle in our lives. He studied the Bible with my husband, Darrin, and Nancy studied the Bible with me. Through their love, faith, and example, they helped guide us to a deeper relationship with God. Ed was an incredible role model who faithfully followed Jesus to the very end. We watched with admiration as he led his family, always putting God first in every aspect of life. His quiet strength, unwavering faith, and genuine love for others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Through the Dawsons, we became disciples, and what began as a Bible study grew into a lifelong friendship that we will always treasure. We are deeply grateful that Ed and Nancy were such a pivotal part of our journey and helped shape the lives and faith we have today as well as our children. Ed’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, including ours. We will always carry his example in our hearts and be forever thankful for the gift of his friendship, faith, and love. He ran his race well, and we look forward to the day we see him again. ❤️
Dear Nancy, Lindsay, Erica, I’m sorry I could not physically be present at the celebration of life for your husband and Dad, Ed Dawson. Thank you for letting it stream online. The event was beautiful and moving. With tears, I remember all of you well. The impact you left on me as a family unit still remains an inspiration in my life. Nancy, the fun times I had with you and Ed in Baltimore were special and hard to move on from when all of you left. However, I’m so encouraged at how God’s unfathomable love really took care of you all. The many blessings he provided with Ed in your life feels countless 💕💫 TGBTG Peace and Love
Life lived full of impact and love. Though your journey on Earth is completed, life in eternity with Christ has just begun. You will be missed. Prayers for your family on Earth.
What a great brother, leader in Jesus. Ed was unique and irreplaceable. Thanks brother for impacting my life deeply. Love you.
Ed, I will be eternally grateful to you. My spiritual walk began in your basement bathtub on September 20th, 1991 in the west region of Chicago. I am so happy I got to see you at the World Summit in Orlando and for you to meet my wife Eileen. I am heartbroken for Nancy, the girls, your whole family and your closest friends. Can't wait to see you again. I am inspired again to fight harder for my walk with The Lord. I love you Ed.
Looking forward to those hugs! Love you guys.
