Celebrating Rebecca Cleaver-Beck

Thank you for being part of Rebecca’s life and journey.

As many of you know, Rebecca has touched so many people through her kindness, creativity, artistry, and love — as a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, dance teacher, photographer, and friend. Over the years, she has captured countless beautiful moments for others while creating a life full of love and memories with her family.

Rebecca has specifically asked to be a part of her own celebration. She would love to hear from all of her family and friends herself, the stories of how she has impacted your life, favorite memories you have of times with her, funny throwbacks, and everything in between. Let’s give her this gift today and give her the chance to hear from all of us how much she is loved.

We invite you to share a short video message, memory, photo, or story for Rebecca and her family. Whether it’s a funny moment, a dance recital memory, a photograph she took, or simply words of love and support, each contribution will become part of a meaningful collection for Chris, Connor, Scarlett, Grace, and all who love her.

Thank you for helping us celebrate Rebecca and the incredible impact she has had on so many lives.

  • Miss.Rebecca-
You’ll always have a special place in Illys dance journey! You were her first teacher at Elevate! I’m pretty sure you were her teacher the 2 years! I remember her seeing all the crave girls when she was 3 and telling me she going to “that” (crave) when she’s older. Timing is bittersweet, because of course the year she makes crave she’ll have a different teacher. But I truly don’t think she would be the dancer she is now if she didn’t have you as a teacher! And for that we’re forever grateful for you!

  • While everyone will see these pictures and think what great photos of our family, me and my family will always see you behind the magic. Getting the perfect shot and smile (out of Sam, thank you!!) is something you are amazing at. And I will forever be thankful for these photos. I will see you in them every time I look at one, which is daily as they are all over my house Thank you for that, and for just being a truly amazing woman on my life. Love you my beautiful friend

  • you’ve always been such a big part of my life. from growing up as a dancer to transitioning into a teacher, i’ve always looked up to you so so much. I remember when i was taking classes, whenever you were subbing for us i knew it was gonna be a good day. One of my favorite memories was the summer musical theater camp you taught when we did you can’t stop the beat. i watch that video back a lot because all of us are having so much fun. You’ve always been so supportive, and whenever i needed advice you were one of the first people who popped in my head to ask. You are one of the biggest reasons i decided to become a dance teacher. seeing how much you poured your heart into your students and seeing how much it paid off and how connected you were with them, it really moved me. I’ve learned so much from you, and the way i teach is so heavily inspired by you. Assisting your classes has been one of the main highlights of my dance journey. I love assisting your crave. i ask for it every year because i love it so much. I love how you would let me bounce ideas off of you. i love how i felt apart of the class. Even when i assisted you for tinies, minis, and petites, i had so much fun that it felt like i was actually in your class as well. you are and will continue to be one of my biggest inspirations. as a dance teacher and as a human. I love you so much????????

  • Ms. Rebecca, you are always the most cheerful person. Even when I didn’t have a skill down or the right technique, you always made me feel like I could do it. When I was at my first audition for production, you were the first person to say hi to me and probably the first teacher to know my name. This year I got the opportunity for you to be my crave jazz teacher, I learned so so much from you and I am so grateful for everything moment from rehearsal to getting off stage at our last competition. Thank you for everything you do, we all love you and appreciate you so much!

Rebecca, the care and joy you pour into your dancers is a beautiful gift to all. You’ve choreographed so many special dances. I can’t possibly pick a favorite. However, I was especially captivated and will forever love your choreography for “Will You Follow Me”. Lauren is blessed to have learned from you. You’ve helped her grow, exponentially, in her love of dance. Thank you for all of the dance joy. Thank you for showing all of us what heart and courage look like. Rebecca, YOU are an absolute treasure. With love, Angie

Vigil

Blessed to have shared precious moments with you, forever grateful for the love and care you gave Jillian, Corinne, and Rachelle. We love you and everything about you. Such beautiful person !

Patricia and Emily Molina

Seven years ago, when Emily first walked into the studio as a petite performer she had you as her dance teacher. I loved watching how you interacted with each one of the girls. I remember you came out at the end of the class to tell me that Emily did not want her hand stamped and you wanted to make sure she did not feel excluded. You were so thoughtful to notice that right from the start. We laughed when I told you she hated getting her hands dirty :) She loved being in your class. Emily found so much more than a dance teacher in you, she found someone who could spark a love of dance that would stay in her heart forever. You poured your passion, grace, patience, and strength into so many dancers, and every girl who stepped into your class became better because of you. The gift you given these girls goes far beyond dance steps and technique. You taught them confidence, discipline, joy, and how to express themselves through movement and music. Your impact will continue to live on every time they step onto a stage, hear music that moves them, or encourage someone else the way you encouraged them. You are deeply loved, and forever part of so many beautiful memories.

Mrs. Rebecca, I cant even begin to tell you the impact you've had on my life. Throughout the years you have been a role model for me and helped me to grow into the person I am today. Whenever I feel like complaining about being tired I think about you and say to myself I can't complain until Miss Rebecca does. Despite your pain and discomfort you always show up for us and support us no matter what! You are the strongest most amazing person I have ever meet! getting to have you as my dance teacher for all these years has been such an amazing gift. I remember the first time I found out I had to get a brace for my back and you were the first one to give me a big hug and support me. I will forever cherish getting to have you choreograph my very first solo and help me grow into the amazing dancer I am today. I love you and miss you so much at the studio. We will be praying for you everyday. 💕

Becky and family, I am so sorry to hear all that you are going through. I met Becky at Woodcreek Park many years ago when all of our kids were younger. I believe your oldest daughter attended B Gale Wilson with my kids. I really looked forward to seeing Becky and the kids when my kids and I went to the park. She has always been a nice and sweet lady. Becky, you are inspirational to so many. We will pray for you and your family.

Debi Wilson

Love you Becky, to the moon and back!

Sarah W

Our family first met you when our daughter Jess attended Elevate, and I will never forget your smile and genuine kindness. You have fought so hard for so long with such strength and grace, and you truly are an inspiration to so many people. Thank you for always spreading love, positivity, and kindness to everyone around you and for never giving up.

Rebecca ~ You have the biggest heart and the kindest soul. I have never met a more selfless person, someone who pours so much of herself into enriching the lives of everyone around her. I want to express how deeply we appreciate everything you have done for Audrey over the years. You have been such an important part of her dance journey and have helped shape her not only as a dancer, but as a person. From group dances, to trios, to her very first solo, you created and nurtured dances that meant the world to her. The memories made through those moments will stay with us forever. Your talent, guidance, encouragement, and love have left a lasting impact on Audrey’s life. You are truly a remarkable woman, and we love you dearly.

Callie and Ariella Augustson

Ms. Rebecca, Ariella and I want to thank you for sharing your love of dance. When I took your tap class several years back, it was the first time I stepped foot on a dance floor in over 20 years. You were so warm and welcoming and your energy was radiating. Every class Ariella has taken from you has also been that same friendly and open environment which has been very appreciated by her as a more introverted dancer. Thank you for being an absolute delight, we will always think of you fondly and feel your presence at Elevate. Callie and Arie
